Melanie Thompson-Stillinger, President
Melanie has devoted her career over the last 24 years to providing staffing and recruiting support to clients across the United States in many different industries – including Banking, Healthcare, Finance, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Distribution and Contact Centers. Her successful partnerships have been based on getting to know the client, the company, their industry and local markets. This approach provides the best opportunity for success for our clients, candidates and Talent Acquisition Teams.
Melanie has a particular passion for Human Resources and obtained the Senior Professional Human Resource Management certification in 2007. Melanie is a strong believer in continuing education, networking and volunteerism in our local communities and regularly promotes these opportunities to her staff, her clients and professional colleagues.
Melanie served on the board of the Oklahoma City Human Resource Society from 1999 to 2009 as Vice President of Membership. She currently is a member of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce and serves on the HR Advisory Board for Francis Tuttle Technology Center. Melanie also serves as an Emeritus Board member for the Oklahoma City Metro Employers council, having served as Vice Chair, Chair and Executive Board member since 1999. She currently serves on the Program Advisory Committee for ITT Technical Institute and is a Frontier Member and Ambassador for the Oklahoma Business Ethics Consortium. She has served as a Volunteer Mentor for Big Brothers and Sisters of Oklahoma City as well as a Stephen Minister for Crossings Community Church. She has served as a board member for Opportunities Industrialization Center and was a member of EWF International from 2007-2008.
In 2010, Melanie was nominated for the Oklahoma City Human Resources Society HR Champion award. In 2011 Melanie was recognized by the Oklahoma HR State Council for Excellence in Human Resource Management.

AJ Spriggs, Branch Manager/Client Development – OKC Office
Ajeenah “AJ” Spriggs has over 10 years of professional experience in HR management, business development, strategic client development, as well as successful multi-disciplinary team management. Ms. Spriggs thrives on building cohesive relationships and loves interfacing with the public. Ms. Spriggs received her formal education from the University of Oklahoma, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism, with an emphasis on Public Relations and received her Master of Science degree in HR Management, from Southern Nazarene University.Sharon Sigler, Talent Acquisition Specialist
Sharon Sigler has over 15 years professional experience in Human Resources, Management and Recruiting. Past positions have included Branch Manager of 2 staffing companies. She has been responsible for developing and growing a client base by providing solutions for personnel needs. As a Branch Manager she developed staff to provide excellent service to clients and candidates as well. Ashley McMillan has been in the sales and marketing industries for over 20 years. Her previous recruiting experience primarily focused on medical and IT related fields. Her favorite aspect of the field is the process of getting to know a candidate’s wants, interests and needs. While the initial phases of recruiting are her passion, she enjoys the full life-cycle of placing a quality candidate with an employer that truly benefits from the acquisition of talented personnel. Steve Wood, Client Development Director
Steve Wood, Business Development Director, joined us in January 2008. Prior to joining HLP, Mr. Wood was a Marketing Manager for Huttig Building Products, joining them in 2004, and prior to that was Branch Manager for Focus Point in Houston and Dallas. Mr. Wood manages key accounts for HLP across multiple industry lines. Mr. Wood is also a proud graduate of Baylor University where he received a BBA degree in Marketing. He is a devoted husband and father of three sons and loves to coach and teach.Lance Powers, Client Development Director
Lance has accumulated over 17 years of experience in B2B, B2C and HR Solution Sales and Operations. He is a former small business owner, having successfully built and sold a Recruiting and Staffing Franchise. This acute understanding of P&L gives his clients the confidence that he truly does have their best interests at heart. Lance is passionate about helping people succeed, applying the Golden Rule to every aspect of his life and welcomes the opportunity to provide Hope and Support for others. Lance Arianna is a Client Development Director for HLP Solutions and is responsible for bringing in and developing business relationships for HLP Solutions to develop and grow in the Healthcare and IT arena. Lance brings over 20 years of Sales and Client development in the Hospital environment and has sold EMR solutions and has been involved in technical and clinical Sales and Marketing in the Healthcare and IT fields. Lance has a BSBA degree in Marketing and Management with a minor in business statistics from Chapman University in Orange, California.David Powell, Manager of Talent Acquisition & Demand Fulfillment
David Powell is Manager of Corporate Recruiting for HLP Solutions and is responsible for developing and managing HLP’s offering of Recruiting Services and Demand Fulfillment Solutions. David brings to HLP more than 15 years of Recruiting and Staff Augmentation Services across multiple platforms, technologies and industries. Josh joined HLP Solutions in September 2007 as a recruiter and became a Recruiting Team Lead in January 2010. He has agency and corporate recruiting experience as well as being an accomplished account manager. Prior to joining HLP Solutions Mr. Graham served in the United States Army in several positions of increasing responsibility over a 12 year span. He is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom after having completed two tours of duty. Sara Bahner began her recruiting career working on a RPO project through HLP Solutions. She has successfully transitioned to the HLP Team where she confidently embraces many different industries placing candidates in both contract and full time employment opportunities. Sara is passionate about the relationships she builds with both clients and candidates. Ms. Bahner received her formal education from the University of Oklahoma, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts & Science Degree in Sociology, with an emphasis on Child Development. Brittany Luna joined the HLP Solutions team in November of 2011 as a seasoned Technical and ERP Recruiter. She is a self-motivated, goal-driven professional with a diverse background in recruiting, networking, sales, and personal coaching. Ms. Luna received high marks from UT Dallas, and graduated with a degree in Sociology in 2007. She is a proud member of DFWTRN, and enjoys expanding her network by attending User Group functions and Job Fairs.Jaye Hansen, Controller
Jaye started her career in public accounting. She was with the Dallas office of Arthur Andersen for over ten years before leaving to work part-time for various companies while her children were young. She joined HLP Solutions as Controller in 2007. Jaye graduated from Texas A&M University Mays School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She lives in Plano with her husband and three teenagers. She loves watching her kids play sports and is active in her church.Amanda Himsel, Human Resources Coordinator
Amanda has worked as HLP’s Human Resources Assistant and Office Administrator since 2010. Prior to joining HLP, Amanda was Office Administrator for a Food Distribution company with responsibility for payroll, inventory control and vendor management. Amanda graduated from the University of North Texas with a B.B.A. in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. She is currently working toward completing her Master’s in Business Administration with emphasis in Health Systems Management, with aspirations of completing her PhD by 2015. Amanda is originally from Houston and enjoys commuting back and forth to spend time with family and friends.Megan Brandt, Administrative Assistant
Megan received her formal education from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and minor in Business Administration, and thanks her lucky stars every single day she is an Aggie. She began working at HLP Solutions in August of 2011, and previously worked as a Receptionist for Fibergrate Composite Structures, Inc. She hopes to attend graduate school in the future, but the direction of that is still very much undecided. Megan enjoys running, biking, and sticking her nose in a good piece of literature.
